FaceGPT works in three steps. You upload any photo containing a face. A neural network maps the facial landmarks into an embedding that describes the face as geometry rather than pixels. That embedding is compared against FaceGPT's index, and every visual match comes back ranked by confidence with a link to the source page it was found on.

People use FaceGPT to check whether their own photos have been reused elsewhere online, to verify that someone they met online is who they claim to be, to trace the original source of an image, and to find the public footprint attached to a face. FaceGPT searches public sources only.

A normal FaceGPT search scans the indexed web and returns matches in seconds, costing one normal credit. A Deep Search goes past the indexed web into forums, archives and unindexed sources to surface matches a normal scan misses; it takes longer and draws on a separate Deep Search credit pool included with paid plans.

Every account gets a unique referral code. When someone you refer subscribes to a paid plan, you earn 20% of the price, on their first payment and every renewal after.

Go to Billing in your account and choose “Cancel subscription”. Subscriptions bought in the App Store or Google Play are cancelled there. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, then drops to Free. Your account, history and referral code stay intact, and you can resubscribe anytime.

Yes. From your profile you can export your data or delete your account in a single action, which removes your subscriptions, credit history, uploads and referral data.
